In 2012, founder Mike Brown created the formula and roasting process for Death Wish Coffee. He wanted a strong, bold and smooth cup, made with high-quality ingredients. We live to rebel against blah beans.

We use a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans that are carefully roasted to deliver a bold, yet smooth cup with an extra kick of caffeine. We typically recommend using 2.5 Tbsps. of coffee for each 6oz of water, but feel free to use your usual brew method and adjust from there. If brewing a full pot, we recommend a 1:10 coffee-to-water ratio. Our coffees are free of any nut or gluten allergens and are produced in facilities that have no possibility of cross-contamination with these allergens.

Our Core Roast, Ground Coffee offerings include Dark Roast with subtle undertones of dark chocolate and black cherry, Medium Roast with subtle undertones of stone fruit and caramel, and Espresso Roast with subtle undertones of caramelized sugar. All are made with a blend of Arabica and robusta beans.

Our Naturally Flavored, Ground Coffee products include Vanilla with a warm, rich vanilla rounded out by notes of smooth, yet bold coffee, Chocolate Hazelnut with toasted hazelnut and rich fudge blended with a smooth coffee profile, and Blue and Buried with homemade blueberry jam, luscious vanilla and sweet Vietnamese cinnamon. These are all Medium Roast blends using Fair Trade arabica and robusta beans.
